Guidelines and ideas for participants in ArtOber 2024
- Participants must be a member of UMVA.
- Members may participate in one day or both, please fill out the form and indicate which so we can market it properly.
- You are encouraged to do something special at your studio that day, such as: demonstrations, discussions, hands-on activities, seconds sales, sales of studies or sketches, offering refreshments or almost anything else you can think of… I will continue to add ideas as they are brought forth.
- If possible, it would be a nice gesture to donate a small portion of event sales to UMVA.
- Participants are encouraged to market their own event, we will be marketing the event as a whole as well.
- Facebook marketing, which can include Facebook ads in your local towns.
- Putting out signs along the road or flags at your location
- Promoting the event on your own Facebook, website, Instagram, or other social media.
- Promoting the event at any shows you participate in this summer or early fall.
